The idea of recording music entirely on a low-budget mobile device always had a special appeal for me, by the stand-point of covering up my own flaws while playing the guitar and as to enhance the sound itself with another aesthetic dimension with layers of hum (or noise) created by the limitations of the equipment used.
Although i believe it's useful to experience a really low fidelity recording - and try to unlock what lies beneath the dusty sound waves - it's even more useful to question the identity of contemporary music, at its core, and to make a statement subverting the expectations created by it.
